march is but several hours away and i wanted to share that i have, in fact, stuck with my no frump challenge. i'm no kendi, but did manage to steer clear of hoodies and tennis shoes for three whole weeks.
things of note: i began my challenge the second week of february. i work monday through thursday, so i my goal was to unfrump four days weekly (weekends are my study time, and i'm not gonna lie, my fancy sweatpants emerge). week three i had two days off. thus, i have just eleven outfits total to digest.
these get-ups are not supposed to wow you. neither is my backdrop, poor lighting or dorky poses. i'm just a girl sticking to her bet. no more frumplestiltskin.

observations: i have a lot of things in gray, navy, and black. i apparently dig monochromatic combinations and color blocking. my husband (my photographer) is more patient with this project on mornings when we are running on schedule. outfit ten is the pants equivalent of outfit nine. black bras show through navy tops (boing). my cuffed black boots win for most worn. it's fun watching my bouquet slowly wilt and die in the background. it's also fun watching piles of clutter shift around on the table and floor. yes, that's a christmas present behind me on day three. poses four and nine are by far the most awkward. this is not a style blog.

7 and 8 are my fave outfits...bravo, Salad!! And PS I love the blog link you sent :D
those are my faves too. both tops are land's end canvas! nine was a disaster! needed an additional layer up top. haha. live and learn.
alas, no sweatshirts were worn. mission accomplished.
Ooooo I love that colorful pendant! Where did you get it?
8 is my fave too — love the sweater! Congrats on making your goal!
thanks lisa. the necklace is a christmas present from my parents. it's from an etsy shop called verabel.
see color study locket, verabel fox.
your observations are soooo funny! thanks goodness for husbands with patience! I have one that has to do more than his share of chores due to my lack of mobility!
