Between the blizzard of 2011 and several on-going re-organization projects at work, I've spent most of January looking tres ragamuffin.I have decided to put my knee-high boot down on this one. No frump.
Rules
- wear a skirt two days a week
- wear jewelry
- no tennis shoes
- no jeans unless they are styled
Why
- To break the unkempt cycle.
- The exhausted look is so 2010.
- I specifically went winter skirt shopping in December and don't intend to lose the opportunity to remix.
- Several packages of unopened tights sit in my drawer.
- My killer boot collection isn't so useful in the spring.
- Cute clothes don't have to be reserved for parties and dates.
- Apparel isn't getting any chic-er just hanging in the closet. I either wear it or ditch it.
- A little effort makes me feel creative.
Care to join me?

totally agreed! all of it. i love skirts -- they make me look like i care and i'm in the game, even when i'm not.
I've been frumpy with makeup/hair lately, so count me in!
Funny i actually said to hubs today that i wont be winning any style awards any time soon just after he took my photo. Mind you i was wearing walking/outdoors gear as we were hillwalking at the time! Still i love your thinking here as i have so many things in my wardrobe i'm keeping 'for good' when good never comes and i end up wearing the same old stuff all the time. I do wear skirts and dresses to work but they aren't the sort of clothes i would wear if i didnt work in an office, i have to be honest. Still, i'd like to join you in your bid to make more effort as i always feel i need to!
